Message from Greenmarket Manager Davy Hughes

It's been a long and cold winter winter and now that spring is here, the Greenmarket Farmers' Market in Union Square is in full swing. To those producers who endured the winter and kept us in good stead with their winter fair, I know USP joins me in saluting each and every one of you. To our loyal customers, farmers are returning with fresh, seasonal produce. This month at Greenmarket you can expect to find: asparagus, rhubarb, spinach, ramps, radishes, sugar snaps, broccoli rabe, morels, garlic and plants galore - just to name some of the season's bounty. Union Square's Greenmarket is open every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. We thank you for eating local and supporting small family farms to build better community relationships.
