Union Square Partnership's Public Safety Officers (PSOs) work to foster a safe and hospitable environment for the 14th Street-Union Square neighborhood. Distinctively uniformed and thoroughly trained, our PSOs are the eyes and ears of the community.
USP's five PSOs patrol the district on foot daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, keeping an eye out for and reporting unlawful activity. In the summer months, those hours are extended to 10:00 PM.
PSOs provide outreach to residents, businesses and visitors, monitor the sidewalks, connect the homeless with services, and contact the local precincts in emergency situations.
