USQ-14th Street Community Forum

  • 14 Street Y 344 East 14th Street New York (map)

CALLING ALL UNION SQUARE NEIGHBORHOOD CHAMPIONS!
Please join the Union Square Partnership (USP) and our partner Marvel Architects on Thursday, November 29th at the 14th Street Y for a participatory community visioning and planning forum, to develop a collective vision for the future of our community.

We want to hear from you - what amenities have you always wanted to see along 14th Street? What can be improved in Union Square Park and our district’s green spaces? Which areas of our district are less accessible for you and your family? Through these conversations and with your help, we hope to make the Union Square-14th Street community even more vibrant, inclusive, secure, sustainable, and welcoming in the coming years - and beyond.

USP’s mission is to ensure the neighborhood’s continued improvement and maximize quality of life for all who live, work, and visit our community. Earlier this year, we launched a Neighborhood Visioning and Planning process to determine how we can best improve security, mobility, livability, and sustainability within our district.

To do this, we need your input and feedback to set the right goals for our district and help us select projects to move forward in the coming years. So whether you live, work, or visit the neighborhood, we hope you can join usAll ages are welcome, and children are encouraged to share their ideas as well!

Browse our Neighborhood Planning page for additional background info before the meeting, and come ready to connect with your community, share your ideas, and help shape the future of the Union Square -14th Street district.
