Christine Lahti Book Discussion

  • The New School Auditorium 63 5th Avenue New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

Over the years, actor and director Christine Lahti has embodied iconic roles in Chicago Hope, Running on Empty, Housekeeping, And Justice for All, Swing Shift, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, God of Carnage, and The Blacklist. Now she’s turning her talent to the literary world. In this collection of affecting essays, Lahti examines her life, from her childhood, to her start as an actor and activist, and her life as a middle-aged woman in Hollywood today.

Join The Strand as Christine Lahti celebrates her book True Stories from an Unreliable Eyewitness: A Feminist Coming of Age; she will be joined in conversation by documentary filmmaker and author Michael Moore.

This event is presented in partnership with The New School as part of the See Me After Class series. Purchase a copy of True Stories from an Unreliable Eyewitness at the top of the page to attend.

The event will be located at The New School, in the Tishman Auditorium, 63 Fifth Avenue at 13th Street, NYC 10003
