Join USP for a special event - Getting to Zero Waste - our first ever forum aimed at providing local businesses, property owners, office managers, waste and sustainability practitioners, and other interested organizations throughout our district with the practical knowledge, resources, and relationships required to move toward zero waste. The event will feature panels with experts on a range of topics such as commercial recycling, office waste reduction and food waste solutions.
Many Union Square businesses are already demonstrating that it is possible to improve waste diversion and engage stakeholders - from employees and vendors to customers - in efforts to reduce their waste footprint without disrupting operations or profits. Attendees will hear zero waste leaders share their lessons learned from working on waste reduction and sustainability in numerous sectors, connect with specialists in waste reduction and recycling, and register for a chance to receive a free waste audit for their organization. Plus, stick around for the networking happy hour with delicious, healthy grain and greens bowls provided by CAVA and beverages provided by Health-Ade Kombucha.
