Tu B'Shevat Paper Art Workshop

  • Yeshiva University Museum 15 East 16th Street New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

Come explore new ways to create art from paper with the Center for Jewish History, hosted in partnership with Yeshiva University Museum.

Taking inspiration from the songs and ceremonies of Tu B’Shevat – featuring flowers, birds and the seven species of the Land of Israel – this workshop explores unconventional ways to think about paper in both 2D and 3D. Guest paper artist, Marna Chester, will inspire participants to curl, fold, pinch, crumple, roll, poke, tear and cut paper, to craft new shapes and dramatic effects.

Ticket Info: $8 general; $6 YUM members, YU students, faculty, staff at bpt.me/3918705 or 800-838-3006
