A new family program series, presented by the American Jewish Historical Society, invites families to participate in uncovering the story of Emma Lazarus and the neighborhood where she wrote “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” From standing tall like the Statue of Liberty, to marching through Union Square, these active sessions make history come to life for families!
Join AJHS as they connect past and present through poses inspired by the stories of Emma Lazarus and the soapbox speakers of Union Square. This program uniquely blends storytelling and physical movement.
Activities are for ages 4 - 8 years old. $10 per family registration. Register here!
