A new family program series, presented by the American Jewish Historical Society, invites families to participate in uncovering the story of Emma Lazarus and the neighborhood where she wrote “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” From standing tall like the Statue of Liberty, to marching through Union Square, these active sessions make history come to life for families!
From acting out speeches to creating their own protest slogans, this walking tour encourages children to discover the history of Union Square and become part of the story.
Activities are for ages 4 - 8 years old. $10 per family registration. Register here!
