Get out and about in New York City with the 12th Annual NYC Summer Streets Event! Summer Streets will open 7 miles of Park Avenue and connecting streets, from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park, for pedestrians, cyclists and joggers to enjoy free food, fitness classes, performances and art workshops all in the middle of an NYC Avenue.

This initiative promotes a healthy lifestyle and sustainable forms of transportation, provides a family and pet friendly atmosphere, as well as celebrates the city’s public spaces.

Summer Streets 2019 happens on August 4th, 11th, and 18th from 7 AM - 1 PM.
